I was able to take 5 of our grand children to visit the ranch on Monday! Daisy did a wonderful job explaining to the children and answering their MANY questions. We enjoyed it so...much and really would encourage everyone to give Daisy a call and let her show you their wonderful ranch! Her patience and gentleness was so appreciated!! We know this will become a yearly visit for our "GrandParent's Week" if our schedule will fit into their busy agenda!! After our visit on Monday, all of the children wanted to go back every day!! They are hoping their parents will schedule a visit at the Ranch sometime soon!! I'm sure the Ranch's mission will be blessed, as their efforts!! We will remind the children to keep you in our prayers for all the wonderful work you do. Blessings, Jeri Gibson

Matt and Daisy,

Yes, I did really work my butt off earning the money for the donation. I have one no more :) Like I said, it was worth it!!!

I can't wait to have the garage sale this year. Last year it was a tremendous success! I am hoping it will be even more successful this year; we have already been gathering things to sell & storing them in our garage! (I hope it doesn't hail anymore, because my mom can't park her NEW CAR in the garage anymore! :D) We've gathered a LOT of really nice stuff! Today we got a dining room table with four chairs; it includes two leaves and a mat thing to cover the table. Everything is in IMMACULATE condition! It should bring a lot!

Daisy- I'd like to give a special thanks to you! Ever since I first came out to the ranch, my life has changed TREMENDOUSLY...my life was broken and unsure, and it showed through in the way I worked with horses. However, since last summer(ish), Daisy, you have taught me how to be a better person. You have taught me how to love, how to give, and you have showed me the beauty of God's grace. You are truly an angel sent from Heaven! You are amazing, and I pray you will never forget it. You have lead me to my best friend.

Normally, there is a *human* boy that girls discover to be their "other half." Well, I have discovered that my other half is, in fact, a living breathing creature; but this living breathing creature carries himself on four legs and carries me strongly on his caring back. I find so much in Beau. He gives me comfort and joy. He seems to understand when I'm having a bad day, and although I know most people would say that the perfect way to heal a bad day is an obedient horse, but Beau has taught me that having a horse is a full-time job, whether or not you're in a good mood. Beau is a gorgeous horse, and I thank the Lord that you have lead me to him, Daisy. You, Matt, (BEAU!!!), and everyone else at the L5 have changed my life greatly. I will never be the same.

With love,

Katie Mae

P.S. Daisy--I am convinced that someday we will take Beau to state on barrels :) It might be a far-fetched goal, but yet it is there...
