If you would like to receive a contribution receipt, please include your name and address with your donation.  If you would prefer not to receive a contribution receipt, feel free to note that with your donation as well.

Special Interests - Special Interest donations are those donations in which you would like to donate to go for a specific item.  If you would like to make a special interest donation please specify on your check or money order what the donation is for. Feed Bunks- We are in need of feed bunks, large troughs, or tractor tire type feeders to help reduce the waste of valuable hay. Grass Hay or Alfalfa Mixture - Currently we have several horse with the plans to add a few more to our herd.  The L5 does have access to some pasture, however the amount of pasture cannot sustain the number of horses that we have.  We need to feed the horses hay or a mix of alfalfa/hay at least part of the year to give the pasture time to regrow.  Each horse should have at least a half bale a day.  Providing enough hay for our horses is a continuing necessity.  If you are interested in sharing a donation of hay to the ranch, please feel free to give Matt a call at 402.525.9963 or email him at L5_Ranch@hotmail.com.   If you would like to share a monetary donation to be used specifically for the purchase of hay during the year, please designate your preference on your check or money order.  Thank you. Equipment - Various types of equipment are needed for the upkeep of our property and program.  We are always in need of tools such as rakes, plastic manure forks, and shovels.  For more ideas on items that are needed at the ranch, please check out our our Wish list.  Horse Donation & Rescue - The L5 is currently looking to add 3-4 horses to our herd.  If you have a horse that you would like to donate please contact us.  We also accept horses from other rescues - if you are an organization or know of an organization that needs a place for a horse to rehabilitate please let us know.  Make Purchases at Country Store Shop at the country supply website: www.countrysupply.com and they will donate 5% of your purchases (excluding dewormer or shipping) to The L5!   Simply enter our Care Code when you complete your order.  Our Care Code:  L5YR Thank you for your desire to partner with us.

Non-Profit Information - The L5 Youth Ranch is an organization classified as a 501 (c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service. Feel free to verify our status at GuideStar  Contribution Receipts - With the contact information we receive, we distribute contribution receipts via mail or email quarterly to every donor.  If you donated to the L5 and did not receive a quarterly contribution receipt and would like to, feel free to contact us and we would be happy to put one together for you.
